We are seeking an experienced Regional Head of Business Development to lead growth initiatives across North East India. The ideal candidate must possess extensive contacts within government authorities and a proven track record in business development. Exposure in the aviation industry would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Formulate and implement business development strategies to increase market share in the north-east region.
- Relationship Management: Leverage existing relationships with government authorities and stakeholders to facilitate growth opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and challenges specific to the North East Indian market landscape.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and drive project initiatives.
- Proposal Development: Oversee the preparation of proposals and presentations to secure government contracts and partnerships.
- Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and establish new contacts.
- Performance Monitoring: Set performance metrics and evaluate the business development team’s effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 20+ years in business development; demonstrable relationships with government bodies in the North East.
