Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated HR Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage various human resource functions, primarily focusing on payroll, statutory compliance, and office administration. This role will require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting our HR department and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management:
- Process and manage end-to-end payroll operations on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain payroll records, including employee salary information, deductions, and bonuses.
- Understanding Labour Laws
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies with employees.
- Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations, including statutory deductions such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and professional tax.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports to government authorities as required.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations and implement necessary policy adjustments.
- Office Administration:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate with vendors for office maintenance and service needs.
- Manage employee records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns related to payroll and general HR inquiries.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including creating employment contracts and conducting exit interviews.
- HR Reporting:
- Assist in generating HR reports related to payroll, headcount, turnover, and compliance metrics.
- Maintain an up-to-date HR database and ensure data integrity.
- Support HR Initiatives:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
- Contribute to employee engagement activities and initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in payroll processing and understanding of statutory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in a similar HR role.
- Knowledge of HR software such as SAP, Workday, or similar platforms.
